Take from personal observation, They are very good!

I'm a little prejudiced but...they are a group of really good guys who are having the time of their lives. They are pinching themselves every day. You couldn't wipe their smiles away with anything. Great chemistry and team leadership.

WCC title and hosting the first round will be pretty cool for USD. Matusz is pretty amazing and a darn good pitcher.

I have to say that they are very impressive, good pitching staff.
With disciplined hitter's.
Also the Gonzaga team is also coming along with there pitching and hitting.
Should be a good WCC Championship series.
The whole WCC have come away with some great win's this year and should be considered one of the top Mid level conferances in the country.
With SanDiego, Gonzaga, And Pepperdine all with 30+ win's this season, Against top ranked team's.
All 3 teams deserve to be in the post season.

EH - I think San Diego and Pepperdine are no brainers to get in with at-large bids. I think Gonzaga would have to win the conference tournament to get in. I could be wrong about that however.

I have SD as my "sleeper" team in Omaha, although you can't really be a sleeper and ranked in the top 10 I guess.

Both Matusz and Romanski were named to Team USA today. What an amazing honor and opportunity for a couple of great guys.
