Is there any real difference between the Northwest Top Prospect showcase in Sacto, and the West Coast one? Or is it just a matter of location and fitting everyone in?

We have been to several PG showcases and tournaments. IMO the organization is great and we do recommend their events.
In the past, most PG events were only held on the east coast and require CA players to incur significant travel expenses in addition to the showcase fee. So, I was glad to see PG coming to CA for the sake of our local players. Son was happy to attend and help kick this one off. The Sacramento showcase was small by comparison, 4 teams and about 80 players, but the competition was very good and the event was well run. I think considering it was the first of its kind in the area it was a good start. I expect this event will become more popular over time. Again, comparing this one to their other events, the Sacramento showcase was lightly attended by scouts. I suspect this again had to do with it being a new venue. What is great about PG is that they distribute their scouting reports to colleges and their evaluations are well respected.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions feel free to send me a Private Message (PM).
