CASon's connie mack team is sponsored by Athletic Placement Services (APS). The kids get several jerseys along with some other gear as part of their package. It is probably worth up to $200. CASon was at a college camp and wasn't able to make it to the first game and somehow his gear was misplaced before he was able to get it.
His team's coach felt bad about it and literally offered him the shirt off his back, offering to give him all of his gear as a replacement, but it wasn't necessary because APS stepped up and gave CASon another full set of gear right away without blinking.
It is just what any company should do, but not what every company does do. Kudos.

My son plays for them, too. He actually ended up letting a kid borrow his shirt for a game because the kid didn't have one..wonder if we were in attendance at the same game.
