HI,

I am interested in any recommendations for hitting coach for my 15 year old freshman son here in orange county. Any info is very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You might want to send an e-mail to the Mark Cresse baseball school, Cresse Contact info, and see if they have any recommendations for someone near you. A lot of the hitting instructors in that area work at the Cresse camp during the summer.

shortstopdad ...

What part of the OC are you in ???

If you are in northern OC you can contact Steve Trombly @ Trombly Baseball. There is also Coach Mike Curren at Esperanza High School (head baseball coach) and if he isn't instructing personally, I believe one of his coaches is.

Not off the top of my head. You could check a couple of things, tho ...

(1) I would still get in touch with Steve Trombley. He has good connections and could probably steer you towards somebody.
(2) If you haven't yet, check out Baseball Resource ... I suspect there are some connections there, or even check their message board for input.

If I can think of anyone in your area (why not move up north? LOL) I will let you know. My e-mail address is public on my profile so please feel free to contact me directly if you wish.

Shortstop;
Have you considered "self teaching"?

I have a need to test:

(1) High-end aluminum Little League(-12) bats
(2) High-end aluminum Big Barrel (2-3/4") (-9) bats
(3) High-end aluminum / composite Half and Half Adult Baseball (-3)

Are there any teams in OC or SO Cal who would like to test these bats?
