Teams and players, please consider the International Baseball Academy.
This is 5 day "teaching" program developed by Bob Williams, Goodwill Series Inc., founder of the Area Code games.
June 27 - July 1, Santa Cruz, California.
Mark Eichhorn, former Major League pitcher will be our pitching instructor. Track coaches, catching coaches, hitting and infield instructors will provide the knowledge to improve your tools.
The questions are "can you teach a player to read the bat"? how to prepare for "showcases", how to select the best college for your talents?
Sixty players will be selected ages 14-18 for this Academy. Cost is $495.00 for the player, includes instruction, meals, room, equipment and daily games.
Travel teams are invited for the tournament.
Players will have the opportunity join the Goodwill Series travel teams to Australia, Japan and China. Candidates may complete the profile on the <www.goodwillseries.org> web site.

Bob, Where will you be playing in Santa Cruz? UCSC? Cabrillo? Sounds like a nice vacation for the family to take next year if you do it again when the son turns 14.
