Valhalla Beat El Capitan 5-2. It was 2-0 El Cap until bottom of 6 when Valhalla scored 5. O'Sullivan got the win. I really thought El Cap would beat Valhalla. I think its time to take Valhalla serious. O'Sullivan and Olsen are an impressive duo. We all know about O'sullivan but Olsen is a monster behind the plate. He threw out both attempted steals and got a pick off. He had a dead accurate cannon for an arm. One of the scoutswe were with said he is the best he has seen behind the plate in the last year in San Diego. It was a fun Game.

Simi Valley HS won the Div II section championship at Dodger Stadium. I believe nationally ranked Villa Park lost in the quarterfinals. This is the second year in a row that a team from the Marmonte league has won the championship. Simi Valley finished 3rd in the Marmonte league. The Marmonte league teams regularly beat up on teams outside the league and then beat up on each other during the season. As a result they don't get noticed in the national rankings and seldom get noticed in the local rankings until after they win the section championship.
