Carl was hot early in the season and it seemed to me that he was a little more tepid towards the middle/end. But I think he showed everybody what he could do yesterday.

Got a little 'scared' yesterday when they lost the 6 run lead but to their advantage, the Huskers' pitchers had trouble finding the plate and walked in 3 runs in one inning.

Great showing for the most part for the 4 BWC teams in their regionals yesterday ... 3 won (UCI fwomped Wake Forest 13-0) but unfortunately Long Beach lost and has to work out of the "losers'" bracket if they want to advance. Tough.

By the way ... where IS Serrano High? 14

I don't know what tepid means but I know you are right. For a kid that just played baseball in high school for something to do after football season, he's rolling.

Serrano- Go past the Mountain High Ski resort turnoff and turn right on the next road. (Sheep Creek Rd. Smile That's really the name of it.

I've been following AJ. Looks like he's doing really good!

tepid = luke warm

AJ seems to be doing well, but sure doesn't seem to get the call as often as some other pitchers. He just keeps plugging along, tho, and is probably handling this than we are. 14
