nasty stuff pop,

Guess I am qualified to answer your question. Cornell College is in Mt Vernon, Iowa about 15 minutes from our building. It is located southeast of Cedar Rapids a few miles and northeast of Iowa City a few miles. They have a nice campus and Mt Vernon is a nice clean small town. Cornell is a great educational institution.

They have their own ball park and some of the nicest indoor facilities in the state. They are highly thought of academically, one of the top ranked DIII schools in the country for academics. They are one of the oldest colleges west of the Mississippi River.

They have a new coach that seems to be very good and works hard at recruiting. Biggest problem is the tuition is high. They play in a very competitive DIII conference that has produced a lot of professional players.

You will find the people who live in this part of the country are very common folks.

Hope that helps a little.
