09thirdstop - good question but it is almost impossibly too broad to answer.
To help you narrow, it would help if you have been to a showcase or college camp and gotten some type of feedback as to the level you are capable of playing at. Most of this can be achieved during next summer which is one of the ideal times for rising seniors to showcase. Suggest going to a PG event and perhaps one or two college events where you might be a fit. That said..
If you are a legit D1 player, what about Minnesota? That is a regional team right there in your home state that has the great advantage of the dome. Check their website out for the next available camp as well.
The Big 10 and the MAC are in the midwest. Schools like Purdue, Iowa, Illinois, etc. Toledo, Ball State, etc. for MAC schools. You can go to ncaa-baseball.com and you can get a listing of each division by level. Looking at that list, you can narrow down your choices by region, go to their websites, and contact the schools of interest via online forms, e-mails, and/or phone calls.
1 upper level D2 program I am familiar is Ashland here in Ohio but not sure if that campus would be your cup of tea.
Two high level D3's here in Ohio are Marietta and Wooster. You need to be a premier player to get a sniff of playing time at those places imho.

Here is a list of things posted by shortstopmom in another thread which seems like very sound and cost-effective advice for getting the proper exposure:

Although we did not attend one, I believe they have free ( or very low cost ) Area Code camps.
#4.) Attend Pastime Tournament Showcase.
I think their entry fee ran about $55-$75.
30-40 college recruiting scouts in attendence.
#5.) PG showcase: $500,.... and more exposure than one could ever imagine!
#6.) Send colleges your Spring schedule and then follow up with invites for them to come watch.
Be persisitant! Sometimes coaches are looking for the athlete that truely has interest in them!
