I'm trying to find out some/any information on the dismissal of Coach Bob Greiner from Concordia College in New York.

All I've seen so far is an e-mail forwarded to me that stated the following:

"There is no simple way to share disappointing news, so I will be direct. Bob Greiner is no longer the Head Baseball Coach at Concordia. Regardless of what you may have heard, the circumstances that led to this outcome cannot be disclosed, and we trust you can appreciate the need for confidentiality. No one is happy about this result."

The program had been reasonably successful under Coach Greiner's guidance but no one is saying anything about anything with regards to his removal.

Wow. So mysterious. Did this email come from the school?

Yes, it did come from the college but there's no news on the college's web site and all information relating to Coach Greiner has been removed from the web site.

The coach has been quite successful at a College that generally does quite poorly with its athletic programs.
