Sonoma State University this afternoon defeated Chico State for the Western Regionals Championship.

They will now travel to the NCAA Division 2 College World Series.

This is a very special team coached by John Goelz [722 wins]. During my shopping center development days in Sonoma County, I was the 1997 Coach at $1.00 per year.

Congrats!!! Congrats also go out to the Franklin Pierce Ravens who are the NE-10 and Northeast Regional 2008 Champs! They defeated Bryant College today to get a bid to the Div II world series!
