Canes; FDU has two locations in NJ. They are seperate schools, same degree. The campus in Teaneck is close to NYC(miles)and competes at the D1 level. The other campus is located in Madison,NJ.This is a beautiful suburban town and the campus was built onto the former estate of one of the worlds wealthiest persons at the turn of the century, the campus is great. They play at a very competitive D3 level. This campus is also only 20 miles due west of Times Square. Check out their websites.
Good luck

To be very honest . . . the facility in Teaneck is the worst college field I've ever seen. It is worse than most high school fields. If your son is seriously considering FD, this is something you really need to check out.

I agree with BB.

My son has played on the Teaneck campus field and it was and is the worst field he has ever played on.

Even the stands where the spectators sit are filled with garbage and weeds.

The D3 campus is very nice and the coach is a good guy too.

If you are looking DIII in NJ then one of the teams in the New Jersey Athletic Conference would be a good choice. Kean, Rowan, Montclair State, College of NJ and William Patterson all have good programs and fields. Montclairs home field is actually a stadium for a minor league team and is very nice. I believe Montclair and William Pattereson have won National championships and the other schools are usually in the hunt for the NCAA tournament.
