What type caliber player can be recruited by schools such as Georgetown and the Ivies?

They (Ivies) will recruit the best ballplayers they can find that will be able to get into their school. Admission is up to the Admissions Dept., Athletics Dept. doesn't have a whole lot of say, so they're looking for the smartest and the best.
