I too would like information regarding the program. I have visited the school and know alumni within our area, so information geared more specifically to the baseball program is most appreciated.

It was very cold and snowy when my son went there to play a weekend series last year. But most NESCAC schools play baseball in bad weather. Hamilton beat Amherst in a make up game during the last weekend of the season which helped knock Amherst out of the playoffs.

After visiting the campus, I saw that the field had a temporary field. I am not looking to jump to conclusions, but do you have any idea of the facilities offered in the baseball program?

I'm very familiar with Hamilton--three of my son's best friends are there.

Academically, Hamilton is clearly among the top tier of small colleges in the country. Standards are high. Professors are accessible (and the food is great, too.)

Athletically, the NESCAC is dominated by Williams and Trinity in most sports, including baseball--though Amherst is always competitive (coach Bill Thurston).

I thought that Bill Thurston was the Amherst coach? Although they are both in the same conference.
