Try to contact Rz1, his son went to UIC, and now plays in the Yankees organization. I have been to a game, their home field is really cool, the Sears Tower is the batter's eye, but that isn't a good reason to pick a college. LOL

UIC just qualified for the NCAA Regionals for the second consecutive year after winning the Horizon League Tournament - and 7 consecutive regular season championships. Playing at Texas A & M this weekend in College Station Regional. Consistently win over 30 games a year. Dee is a solid coach who constantly teaches with big emphasis on the mental aspects of the game. Has a coaching philosophy built on pitching, defense, and alot of bunting and running. Academics a priority. Nice early season schedule - flying to Vanderbilt, Alabama, and NC State next year. Horizon a fairly balanced league, with some nice non-conference games during season. Have played Notre Dame, Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern, over past several years, along with other decent Illinois schools.
