When you get to town go past THE traffic light and the school is a mile down the road on the left. It's the absolute middle of nowhere. The hot spot is the bar at the Comfort Inn. The school is known for producing teachers. It used to be a state teacher's school. The coach has been there long enough that he coached my son's high school coach.

A couple of summers ago our 16U travel team played a tournament there. I had a talk with the coach. He asked who are best two or three players on our team. When I described them as versatile as opposed to polished at a position he said he likes that. He said he can't compete with Penn State for the polished, stereotypical baseball size player.

There were a lot of drafted names on the dugout wall given it's a very cold weather location. One has made the majors. I can't remember who. He played for the Tigers.

It was a set in some low lying mountains with beautiful views. My son played there a couple times. I think it was the ECBC WS.
I remember reading the names on the dugout A good friend played basketball there . He broke all the scoring records and is now playing pro in Europe. He liked the school. It is a D11.
The weather was not great. RJM is right. Not much to do. They did have a few great food joints.

It's in the PSAC ... Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. It's a D2.

The PSAC is a very strong D-2 conference - one scout when I coached in it 15 years ago described it as having the best college players in PA.

Coach Hillson knows what he is doing, always fields competitive teams, and teaches hitting in a unique and dedicated way. Serious players like playing for him.
