Does anyone have an opinion on which schools have the best run baseball programs in this conference? I am aware of their records and I am more interested in hearing opinions on whether any of the coaches stand out as far as player development and players having positive experiences. Thanks

Illinois Wesleyan is a good program, but i havent heard many good things about the coach. Carthage is always solid. North Central has a good program. Great pitching coach. I dont know much about any of the other programs.

Thanks for your response. We have been to Illinois Wesleyan, Augustana, Millikin and Elmhurst. All are good schools, it is just hard to narrow it down and try to figure out which has the right fit.

one thing you should know is that their rosters have like 40 guys on their team. Which means not a whole lot of playing time. I know a couple of guys that played in that league an they told me that you won't play for a couple of years plus they have j.v. teams. Carthage: very good team, great facilities, and from what I understand good coaches

Thanks HighBalls and SouthPaw13. Do either of you know of any other strong D3 or NAIA baseball program in Illinois that you would recommend?
