Ron Polk has resigned. Any idea who will be the next head coach of the Bulldogs?

I would not doubt that Coach will have a big say in it

My 4 guesses:

Not necessarily in any order...

1) Corwin from Vanderbilt;

2) Cohen from Kentucky;

3) Steve Smith from Baylor;

4) Joe Hudak from Winthrop.

I'm thinking:
Tom Raffo - Miss State assistant

Russ McNickle - Miss State assistant

Pat McMahon - Former Miss State Head Coach

Congrats to John Cohen...former Mississippi State player and former head coach at the University of Kentucky, for being named head coach to succeed Ron Polk to lead the Bulldogs in the SEC.

But Polk has softened his stance considerably:
A Calmer Ron Polk Talks

Here's a couple of excerpts.

Now that you've had time to think about all of this what are your thoughts?
"I am a Mississippi State guy all the way. This will work out eventually. I just have to get over it. I don't feel this way for me totally, it's for my coaches."

Do you feel that you overreacted when you talked to the media right after John was hired?"Yeah, I did. I'm not going to take my name off the stadium...."
