Or anyone associated with or have knowledge of this conference? My son will be playing for Mines this season as a freshman and was looking for anyone who might have some insight on the conference and whom is typically the strongest teams?

I live in Pueblo and watch most of CSU-Pueblo's home games. The RMAC is pretty decent baseball. Mesa State and CSU-P historically battle it out for the championship (CSU-P 2004, Mesa 2005-6). Mesa should be top dog this year. Highlands usually has a ton of offense. The RMAC has a new website so archives aren't there. noidea

Congrats on your son getting into Mines. good As you well know, very top notch academic school.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your response, actually planning on going the series between Mines and Pueblo in Pueblo April 27th-29th as it will be about as close as they get to us.
Proud dad for sure, Hoping Mines can compete with most teams this year otherwise it may be the death of him as he is not fond of losing. Maybe we will see you when in Pueblo, I will be the one rooting big time for # 18, plus with my Texas drawl I should be easy to spot.

If I'm in town I'll be there. Looking forward to meeting you. Pueblo has one of the nicer ballparks in the league. Not sure how Mines will do this year. 0-8 last year against CSU-P and Mesa. CSU-P lost a lot of starters to graduation so Mines has a shot.

Good luck to your son.

Don't have personal knowledge but have talked quite a bit with a former Mesa State player who coaches here locally. He said Mesa is a very competitive program and has one of the nicer ball parks around the nation.

Season starts two weeks from tomorrow, cannot wait hopeful that the snow subsides enough to begin otherwise first series could be a road trip to Portales New Mexico to take on Eastern NM. If they end up going to New Mexico the wife and I will make the trip as it will be closer.
Curveball07 I know your son is suppose to make the trip this weekend for the camp, I wish him the best and hopefully the coach will extend a few offers especially to a couple of the Texas kids making the trip.

CSM has moved there games from home Feb 10th-11th (imagine that with all the snow they are getting penguinflap) to Eastern New Mexico they plan to play one Friday, two Saturday, and one Sunday. The wife and I will be there for Saturday and Sunday games so any Eastern NM fans on here holler at us...
