Hi,

My eldest will be playing in the Greater Phoenix Invitation from in March. The exact dates are March 19th through the 26th. I will in town for most of that time. Although my wife would disagree, even I can't watch baseball exclusively over a period of a week.

I am looking for some advise on nice public golf courses for the skill challenged baseball dad golfer, good steak houses and other must see/do activities. Also, what should the kids
(college age) try to experience if time permits.

They will be playing in Chandler and Glendale.
Hotels are in Tempe.

lsc59 - I don't really know much about Phoenix. But you are there at the perfect time for MLB spring training. My family is going down in March to see baseball.

Thanks for insight. My son(s) pitching coach
will down for spring training and splitting his time betwwen AAA and bigs, so I hope to see him pitch a bit and cheer him on to make the roster. (Alec Zumwalt - Milwaukee) Also, the Firehouse Steak House semms like a great place to take my Aunt Josie and Uncle /Namesake Jack who live in Peoria. Thanks for your response and good baseball this year.
