Congrats to the AZ Firebirds on winning the Connie Mack World Series.........Having to double dip last night they took the first game over the Trombly Braves 23-4 then went 3 scoreless innings in the second game before they cracked their bats to shut out the Braves 10-0. WP in the second game was Sammy Solis.
As an former resident, graduate of ASU and Agua Fria (where Solis attends) and raised in Litchfield Park, I send out a BIG CONGRATS from Texas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to the Firebirds. That is one awesome baseball club. Those boys can really swing it. 76 runs is a new CMWS record. And yes they can pitch too, only 19 runs allowed in all.

I wondered why the baseball kept getting bigger and bigger, and then it hit me.
