I wish I was. I could live in Grand Junction. My son made it out their for the JUCO World Series. Beautiful!!!

How is your son doing?

Aside from baseball, did you get to see the Grand Mesa?

A little late, but...

Funny running into you on this post. I feel the same as you about the Grand Junction area. If I could find work out there I would move there in a minute. Had a great time at the Central Region Tournament. Finished up loseing to Mesa State in the Championship game but had a great ride along the way. Jr. finished off a 45 + 15 year by being named to the All-Tournament Team as the catcher 2 weeks in a row. Had many memorable moments during the year as I was able to attend 31 out of the 60 games they played. That in itself is a feat as he attended Wayne State College in Nebraska. It wasn't to long after that last game when I started thinking about all the people who had a part in making this adventure happen and you came to mind. I was thinking about the best way to contact you to share my thoughts and this post poped up. It was roughly a year and 1/2 ago after attending one of your seminars you gave a down to earth and honest assessment of Jr's skills. "Top level D-2/Mid Level D-1". Along with several other factors his school of choice was made and he ended up starting 56 of 60 games and leading the NSIC in runniers caught stealing,(16) least amount of PB's,(4) and fewest E's. Pretty good assesment of talent if you ask me. My hat's off to you as you hit that nail right on the head. Being he was comeing in as a Jr. he needed a place where he could see action right away as he didn't have 4 years to jockey for position. Your evaluation of his skills helped us find the best all around fit for him. For this I thank you. As much as you try to research schools and baseball programs it's still somewhat of a **** shoot. Your thoughts and comments helped us find a realistic starting point to which will probably be the final chapter in a long and fun filled journey. Thanks again Al.

Al, I forgot to put your name at the start of the above post. It's supposed to be address to you.

I certainly wish him much success and at the same time CONGRATS. Sounds like he did very well and very proud of him.

Appreciate your kind words and certainly thank you all for the opportunity. I can assure you I would not have missed it.

Thank You,
Al McCormick
