Have you been to a doctor? If not, you should. How old are you? Do you have a clip of yourself throwing?

I agree that he needs to see a doctor. That's why I said he should. However, the root cause of the problem could be be related to his mechanics. Going to see a doctor will only deal with the symptoms, not the root cause of the problem.

If you were 38 like me then I'd say it's probably due to aging. However, for a 16 year-old to be experiencing this is a bad sign. There could be something seriously wrong with your shoulder (and the fact that it goes away over time doesn't mean anything). YOU NEED TO GO SEE A DOCTOR.

That doesn't make any sense given the cracking sound that you describe. GO SEE A DOCTOR.

All the trainers at my school are pretty much full of ****. The one at my school is never in his office, and he makes up stupid explanations. If you go in with a sore wrist, he will say show me how you throw, and even if it's perfect, he will say, kids these days don't even know how to throw a baseball. HE is that way with all the sports, makes it sound like they have no idea what they are doing. Sometimes he is right, but a lot of times he is wrong.
Forgot to add one thing, I injured my knee the other day, and he says show me how you run, and I did, and he was like, you don't run right. It's just a sore muscle. I didn't even hurt it running, it was sliding, and it turned out that I actually had a partiallly torn ACL. SHows how much he knows.
