i posted in the injury thread more detail about the actually problem but
ive been working on my pitching which i just started 2 weeks ago. ive been using pitching mechanics everyother day throwing fastballs and changeups, everything was great until about 10 days later when all of assudden my ball started tailing and sinking big time with pretty good velo., and i was thinking this GREAT how the heck is anyone gona hit that.
but a day later i started getting a tight feeling in the front my shoulder and ive always throw through everything tight and sore but this didnt disappear so i made it worse and than stopped.
i seemed to feel like my arm wasnt always at the same spot when my front foot landed. because sometimes i would feel the tightness and other times i wouldnt at all and id get more velo on it.
any thoughts or suggestions? if anyone can even comprehend what im trying to say, thank you!

If I understood you correctly, you started pitching two weeks ago and you've been pitching every other day. And now you have tightness and soreness in the shoulder. You also believe your arm is not always at the same position at foot plant.

Well, you didn't say how many pitches you throw when you pitch every other day but it's very possible you've been pitching too much too soon. Regarding your arm position, you very likely have a mechanical and/or timing problem. But, honestly, there's not a lot thay any of us can say without seeing you pitch. Post up some video if you can and you'll get more helpful replies.

Backstop007,

Front of the shoulder problems are caused by” Over early rotation” and or “Scapular loading” that puts to much stress on your rotator cuff right at initial forward force application. To rid yourself of this injurious effect do not take your elbow, forearm or hips behind the imaginary line between the mound and second base. These early mechanical problems and not locking your humerus in line with your chest cause the drag. No video necessary.
