Also some people just have a natural ability to throw hard.

Genetics and maybe a lot of hard work.

Everyone has a genetic maximum, however I suspect most don't reach it.

There can still be a lot of physical differences between players that have the same measured size. One player who is 6'2" 220 may be a physical specimen of pure muscle, while another person who is 6'2" 220 may be rolly polly and out of shape.

That's like asking why two sprinters in the Olympics may be the same size but run different times.

Or, how come Michael Jordan was so much better than all the other 6'5" NBA players?

How did John Elway or Dan Marino get those cannon arms, when they were the same size as any number of other guys?

ridge,

If you're referring to Midlo Dad's answer as sarcasm...well, you probably don't really know what sarcasm is.

I thought Midlo Dad simply re-framed your question in order to illustrate its limitations.

There are no 'stupid questions'--no one is saying that here, I think. On the other hand, some questions are more incisive and practical than others. Incisive questions might be defined as questions that someone other than God could give you a truly meaningful answer for.
