my summer team usually plays one game on thursday OR friday, and than double headers on sat and sun. if we play thursday how many pitches would you say is too much to pitch again sat, and than on sunday?
and likewise if we play friday?

Im thinking if its thursday anything more 40 would be safeto say wait til sunday, anything more than 60 wait til next week.

i ask because my coach will pitch a guy who threw 100 pitches yesterday again today if he says his arm is ready, and he asks me multiple times a game if im ready to go in. so i was hoping to give him some sort of pitch count schedule to work with.
thanks

Thursday/Friday games could be treated like a bullpen. I would recommend 30 pitches approx 2 innings Thurs/Friday for Sat/Sunday games respectively.

I totally agree with your answer and second that approach.
