How do you throw this pitch?

"Practice."-Tiger Woods when asked what he would do after failing to make the cut at the U.S. Open.

"When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stone-cutter hammering away at his rock perhaps 100 times without as much as a crack showing. Yet at the 101st blow, it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before."

i actually did not know this was a pitch until my dad found it online one day. I always used it as my cut fastball b/c it broke hard in on right handed hitters (RHP). I grip 2-seam fastball with seams, place fingers on right side of seam, and before release give a little wrist flick like you are throwing a football. Rotate ur thumb downwards.... works for me

Isn't that almost like a slider or cut fastball?
