Talk with someone who threw one effectivley... If you want proper advice in this forum you need to post a clip. The clip is important because your armslot is important with both of these pitches...

Slide your thumb 1/2 inch to the inside (closer to the index finger) of the grip on the SINKER.

Make sure you keep you fingers between the seams, not on 'em. If you get too much pressure on top of the seam you get more backspin, not what we want.

When I'd get my arm slot right I'd get some REAL heavy bore.
