My son has attended UNC's summer camps for the last three years. His first year he was a rising 7th grader. They run outstanding camps. They keep them busy the entire day and offer outstanding instruction on pitching catching posistion play and hitting. You can find all the information on the official UNC website.

I agree with Coach May, UNC has a good camp. Others that my son has attended, and benifited from, are UNC-W, ECU, Elon, and Campbell. UNC-W was probably his favorite due to Coach Scalf's focus on defense, especially middle infield. All schools have web sites. Just look for "camp info".
Good luck!

It's a good idea to pick a camp at a school that your son is interested in attending when he is of age. Have fun...good luck.

clemson is a must at some point for your son to attend. my son raves about it, as does almost everybody who attends. Awesome camp. they work from 8 am to 9 pm and beyond if you want to stick around. You get to meet some very exciting players and coaches as well. coach legget is very accesible. anybody can talk to him. he is constantly in the fields working with kids, as well as giving daily lectures on the finer points of the game in the mornings. Khalil Greene, the college baseball player of the year a couple years back, was there helping out and you could talk to him, though he was very quiet my son said. He got to meet and pick the brains of tons of players that were playing for clemson that are now in the pros. The players are extremely helpful, because they teach you exactly what they were taguht at clemson. Its also very efficient, as there isnt very much time where the coaches just send the kids off to hit or throw or anything like that just to take up time. everything they do has a purpose for them to learn more about how they can become better.
its a winner and a must
