Any info. on this program? Their website does not list a roster, but does list three signees. I know that they have not had a winning program lately, but what is the projection for this program in the future? Does anyone know what positions they are still looking for? Opinions on the coaching staff and academics?

I imagine the roster will be posted soon. The school typically keeps their athletic site up to date, and you've probably caught them in transition, clearing out last year's info in preparation for the new.

Academically, App. is a fine university, typically ranked by U.S. News annual report in the top 10 or 15 southeast regional universities.

The baseball program has not been competitive in the last few years, and they compete for recruits with nearby Southern Conference foes Western Carolina and UNC-Greensboro. The field is relatively new and beautiful. I don't know enough about the coaching staff to comment, other that to say they will schedule some very tough non-conference opponents (last year, Florida St., for example), so their players get to play against some of the best in the country. I have spoken with a few parents who's sons are being, or have been, recruited by App. recently, and it seems the intent to turn things around is there.
