Does anyone have any info on NCSU's summer camp. I have called the number on their website and left a message but have gotten no response. Also, does anyone know of a good summer team based in Raleigh or further east that needs players ?

rd, ya'll may want to look into jr. legion for summer ball. this is the most common path that local h.s. players follow in this area. this also leaves time for summer camps before they go back to school. fall is the time for travel teams or play in the "greater raleigh fall baseball league"
never been to the state camp, he has been to UNC, ECU, Campbell and UNC-W (his favorite..lots of defensive work).
are ya'll going to any more of the impact open showcases? we were in kinston and are going to the one in oxford later this month.

Some of the locals are looking into forming a jr. legion team for the summer but I'm not sure if it will be organized in time.
I don't think we will be back to any of the Impact opens anytime soon. Mainly just wanted to get a feel for it. Probably will go back next year and try to get into an undeclass showcase somewhere.

I'm in Halifax Cnty. What school does your son attend? I think the deadline for paperwork for jr. legion has passed. If there is not one that encompasses your son's school, I believe he is free to try out for another team. I know of several AAU teams in the east also. Let me know where you are.
